My week at Kripalu studying with Beryl Bender Birch reminded me of just how healing it is to make time to get away and focus on self-care.   Besides learning a lot more about teaching Astanga and deepening my personal yoga practice even more, I spent a good part of every day meditating, discussing the Yoga Sutras of Pantajali, eating awesome healthy food and relaxing in the woods.   It was deeply refreshing and I continue to feel revitalized.
